Description: (–)-Catechin gallate is a competitive inhibitor of the facilitative glucose transporter GLUT4. It inhibits proliferation of MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells and reduces VEGF-induced tyrosine phosphorylation of VEGF receptor 2 (VEGFR2).
